Liverpool Reach Agreement With PSV To Sign Cody Gakpo
Netherlands World Cup star and PSV Eindhoven forward Cody Gakpo is set to sign a long term deal with Liverpool later this week as contract is fully agreed.
The Reds will pay around £37 million plus add-ons up to £50 million potential package.
Liverpool have snatched the 23-year old from Premier League rivals Manchester United who were still to finalize a financial offer.
Gakpo was a target of many top clubs in Europe including Leeds and Southampton during the summer transfer window but chose to stay at PSV.
The Dutch international had settled to wait for offers from Champions league contending clubs and Liverpool clearly ticks all the boxes for his burgeoning ambition.
