Mbappe Unfazed By Martinez World Cup ‘Celebrations’
Kylian Mbappe says he is focused on giving his optimum best for Paris Saint-Germain after France’s World Cup defeat to Argentina and not bothered by Martinez’s offensive celebrations.
Following his shooting-out heroics that cupped a third World Cup trophy for the Albecelitis, Emilano Martinez’s celebrations were all about Mbappe.
During their dressing celebrations the Aston Villa keeper called for a minute silence for the Frenchman.
As though that was not enough, as ridiculous as it may sound, Martinez was pictured with a doll that has the face of Mbappe on it during an open-top bus parade in Buenos Aires.
As expected, the former Arsenal keeper was criticised heavily for his antics but Mbappe cannot be bothered.
“Celebrations are not my problem. I don’t waste energy in such trivial things”, the 24-year-old told RMC Sport after netting a last gasp winner for PSG against Strasbourg in Ligue 1.
“The important thing for me is to give the best of myself for my club”.
