Ali Akhmedov rose in the IBF ranking
The International Boxing Federation (IBF) has updated the world rankings. The only Kazakhstani who was affected by the changes was Ali Akhmedov.
The boxer changed his registration and entered the top five in the second middleweight. Previously, he was ranked sixth. Now the knockout holds the fifth line.
We add that the champion in this division is the Mexican Saul Alvarez. Ali Ahmadov held his last fight in September last year. He defeated American Gabriel Rosado by unanimous decision. The Kazakh boxer won the IBF NA and WBC Silver titles in the second middleweight.
