Ronaldo & Messi Thrill Fans In Exhibition Match

It was all fan when arguably the two greatest players of all time, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi shared the same pitch for the first time in a long while and possibly the last time.

The Portuguese was making his debut since his historical switch to Al Nassr — he featured in Saudi Pro League giants Al Nassr and Al Hilal All-Star XI as they took on Messi’s Paris Saint-Germain in a thrilling exhibition match on Thursday night in the capital.

Messi put PSG ahead in the first three minutes but Ronaldo scored from the spot to bring his side back on level pegging.

The first half ended 2-2 with Ronaldo leveling again after Marquinhos had put the visitors in front.

Juan Bernat was sent off for hauling down Saudi international Salem Al Dawsari while Neymar also missed from the spot in an entertaining first half.

The second half was not any different from the first, though both Ronaldo and Messi were substituted after the hour mark.

Ramos added the third after the restart and Jang Hyun-soo’s drew level for the hosts with a header but Mbappe’s penalty goal and substitute Hugo Ekitike’s well composed finish put PSG out of sight.

Jang Hyun-Soo left it late with a sumptuous finish outside the box for the All-Stars but it was not enough to draw level as PSG won 4-5.
